This shoot was brought together BRILLIANTLY by Leigha Haynes and it reminded me of one of the reasons why I have loved weddings ever since I was a little girl: They bring people from all over to celebrate love and beauty with shared talents and creativity.
I loved meeting and working with every single vendor, photographer, and content creator involved in this perfectly orchestrated symphony of a day. The kindness and joy was apparent throughout and the intentional details that each vendor contributed made this the most flawless experience. As I share my experience below, I will be shouting out each vendor and what they contributed to this sweet day.
We start our shout-outs with Whitehead Manor, one of my favorite venues to date. With a little help from the breezy and cool day, the well kept property set the perfect ambiance. In the heart of the Sardis region of Charlotte, NC, the peaceful nature of this venue is provided by WM’s dedication to maintaining the historic character of the home and it’s surrounding grounds. The landscaping, lawn, and trees have been kept and cared for to provide much needed shade, perfect lighting, and a stunning focal point for a sweet backyard style ceremony. They even provided us the draping for the ceremony that gave the simplest touch of elegance. Shelby, our venue coordinator was our best friend who made sure we had everything we needed from setup in the early afternoon until cleanup in the evening.

I could not have been happier with the way the florals turned out. We wanted to exude Romance, elegance, and a touch of Old Money influence. I had the best time curating a collection of vases for the table-scape that was enhanced by silver and gold antique candlesticks from Cooke Rentals in Lake Norman, who provided the ceremony planters as well.
The table-scape was SO fun to put together with the place settings done by Yana from Lait Collective. Her glasses, plates, and flatware shined and sparkled giving the table an elegant enhancement. Her Coupe glasses were the perfect styling choice for our end of evening champagne tower.

Our models from the West Coast, Noa Harrison and Katelyn Moya were professional and authentic all the way through the shoot. They were so sweet together and full of joy. As the loveliest real life couple, they carried this project with ease and grace. I know all of our content creators and photographers loved working with them. Their natural chemistry is apparent to anyone that has the pleasure of working with them.
Their natural sweetness and photogenic gifting were prepped for the cameras by the incredibly talented Hailey for HM Bridal & Laura with Laura R. Artistry. Given their history partnering together, they once again worked hand in hand to get Noa and Katelyn ready for hours of modeling. My favorite HMUA artists are the ones that recognize the natural beauty of their subjects and do not do anything that might alter or disrupt their authenticity. I can attest firsthand that Laura and Hailey know how to provide their services with tasteful quality. They have the perfect touch and know how to use their gifts without overdoing it.
Noa and Katelyn’s looks were completed with a stunning suit from OMJ Weddings and the dress and veil from JM Majors. The pearl details lining the dress and veil were a tiny but intentional choice that continued our theme perfectly. Madison from JM Majors was on site for the whole shoot to carefully clip Katelyn into the dress and make sure the look was displayed in excellence. A bridal gown is the crown jewel of the wedding day, and Madison made sure to care for the look in such a manner.

Let’s not forget our food vendors: Carolina Charm Charcuterie and Dessert Therapy. Grazing tables are PERFECT for classic venues like Whitehead Manor, and Amanda with CCC gave us the most BEAUTIFUL arrangement of cheeses, meats, crackers, dips, etc. Not only was her table gorgeous AND yummy, but she knew every detail about the samples that she provided. It was an educational experience to say the least. Her grazing table gave us much needed snacking and was a true work of art.
Elizabeth from Dessert Therapy not only baked the best wedding cake that I have ever had, but also helped us to steam the tablecloths for the event as well (along with my mom)! The two tiered cake was decorated to fit our theme like a glove, down to the tiny Greek pillar details. The cake was perfectly moist and the frosting was light and fluffy (with no fondant!!!). If you get the chance to use her services, I highly recommend her Red Velvet cake as my personal favorite.

Nothing makes detail shots complete quite like the invitation suite. Ellen Davis Creative not only lent her impeccable talents through the invitation suite, and dinner/bar menus, but also provided the crest design for the front of our bar. Without her, we would have been missing such an important touch of class and beauty.
Speaking of creative details, Jobana Impressions was our live artist for the day. Her unique style and sweet attitude was so refreshing to be around. While she specialized with guest portraits for our event, she can provide you with live ceremony or reception paintings as well.

If you need bar service for your cocktail hour and reception, look no further than Elevated Spirits Mobile Bartending. Will and Lauren are the coolest couple to have at your event. You might just forget that they are vendors, because they feel like friends! You and your guests will absolutely love their fun and friendly nature.

The cherry on top of our romantic, antique theme was our vintage car from Top Hat Rides for the coolest getaway photos. The chandeliers for our reception set were rented from Chandelier Events, proving that chandeliers do belong outside! Our reception set would not have been nearly as stunning without them.

I was blown away by the kindness and care that all of our content creators and photographers brought to the shoot. Despite technically being in competition with each other, everyone worked with such grace and kindness. They made sure to allow enough space for each other to get the content and shots that they needed. They were all so sweet, encouraging, and complementary. I am blown away by the talent and ability to capture such beauty with every single post and gallery that they have sent us.
Finally, we cannot leave this post without recognizing our amazing coordinator that set this entire event to run flawlessly. Cool under pressure and incredibly organized, Leigha brought together the best combination of vendors that were able to work beautifully together. She also reached out to the best group of media vendors to participate and utilize their cameras to gather the sweetest content. I highly recommend her gifts to any bride that is looking for intentional and professional services. She does her work with excellence and I am proud to call her a friend and partner in this event.
If you are looking for vendors in Charlotte NC, Columbia SC, or throughout the Carolinas, I have listed our vendors and photographers below by their social tags. I highly recommend working with any of them. They will provide you with the most excellent services for the most important day of your life.
